Hi Animals Lovers!

If you are reading this, you care as much about your pets as I do about mine. You are tired of feeling guilty when you leave your pet at the kennel. You are tired of worrying when you get delayed at work and no one is home to let your dog out.
I felt the same way about my pet greyhound. I noticed that Nicki was most happy at home with someone who loved her as much as I did. She was not nervous, upset or sick when I came home.
I worked in information technology for 18 years. After much soul searching I decided work at something I felt passionate about-- a pet care practice. In 2008, Michele's LoveN PetCare practice was established.
I have cared for the following special needs pets: a terrier with seizures and hypothyroidism; 2 cats with malalignment of the lower spine; a blind basset hound who has responded best to my caring attention to his fears; 1 paralyzed little bulldog. I have calmed fear- aggressive dogs that other pet walkers have been unable to walk.
Take a look at the "testimonials" link and see what our customers have said about my pet care. If you want caring attention to your pet, I am the best person to call. When you meet me and see how I interact with your pet, you will see what I mean.

I have been a critical care registered nurse for over 30 years. There is nothing I haven't seen in human care over the years. I am confident in emergencies and able to react in a calm and efficient maner. In addition I was a flight nurse for 27 years and dealt with wartime injuries during the Gulf War.

I am especially interested in caring for seniors and pets with special needs; pets that need the special care of an experienced nurse.

I have cared for an elderly dog with diabetes who required insulin injections. I have cared for a pet dog with a post-operative wound that required daily care. I have cared for an elderly dog who is paralyzed in her rear legs. I have transported a dog with a fractured leg for emergency veterinary care.

If you are familiar with greyhounds, you know that they come from the race track with stress-related injuries and have health problems that are peculiar to this breed. I have had three greyhounds since 2004 and have cared for these very special dogs, one of whom had bone cancer.

If your pets need special attention for any reason, you will not find a better person to care for them in your absence.
