Hi Animals Lovers!
If you are reading this, you care as much about your pets as I do about mine. You are tired of feeling guilty when you leave your pet at the kennel. You are tired of worrying when you get delayed at work and no one is home to let the dog out.
I felt the same way about my pet greyhound. I noticed that Nicki was most happy at home with someone who loved her as much as I did.
I worked in information technology until my employer reorganized. I was searching for jobs every day without success when a friend asked, "What is your passion ....that is what you should be looking for".
I thought for a minute and answered, "My passion is animals". My friend said, "Then why are you looking for office work?"
After much soul searching I decided to go into the pet care with my friend. In 2008, we established Michele's LoveN PetCare.
I have cared for the following special needs pets: a terrier with seizures and hypothyroidism, 2 cats with impaired function due to malalignment of the lower spine that left them unable to walk normally, and 1 blind pooch who has responded best to our caring attention to his special needs.
Take a look at the "testimonials" link and see what our customers have said about our pet care.

I have been a critical care registered nurse for over 30 years. There is nothing I haven't seen in human care over the years. I am confident in emergencies and able to react in a calm and efficient maner. In addition I was a flight nurse for 27 years and dealt with wartime injuries during the Gulf War.

I am especially interested in caring for seniors and pets with special needs; pets that need the special care of an experienced nurse

I have cared for an elderly dog with diabetes who required insulin injections. I have cared for a pet dog with a post-operative wound that required daily care. I have cared for an elderly dog who is paralyzed in her rear legs. I have transported a dog with a fractured leg for emergency veterinary care.

If you are familiar with greyhounds, you know that they come from the race track with stress-related injuries and have health problems that are peculiar to this breed. I have had three greyhounds since 2004 and have cared for these very special dogs, one of whom had bone cancer.

If your pets need special assistance or have a medical condition, you will not find a better person to care for them in your absence.
